About Us The Nodakords is a barbershop men’s chorus established in 1967 in Minot, North Dakota. The group consists of approximately 30 men who meet every Tuesday evening, at 7:30 p.m. in the choir room of First Lutheran Church in Minot for fun and fellowship while singing.
The singing doesn’t stop there! Various performances are scheduled throughout the year highlighted by the Good Times Music Show in April, July’s ND State Fair Parade, and the Fall Show Harvest of Harmony in November. A number of special holiday performances to celebrate the season are also scheduled throughout the community.
We take great pride in keeping the traditional barbershop sound alive for all to enjoy. You can also experience songs, both old and new, performed with modern a cappella flare. The performances have something for everyone to enjoy.
We also take great pride in our partnership with the region’s schools to introduce North Dakota’s youth to this wonderful musical standard. We perform for students and help provide music to any youth singing group interested in trying the acappella sound.

Interested in singing? We are always looking for new voices and friends to join the finest acappella chorus in Minot. We invite all levels of experience to participate, and we will place you within a comfortable voice range. We encourage everyone both young, and a bit more mature, to join the fun. We also extend a special invitation to those serving our country at Minot AFB to bring their voices to town.
